Kyle XY

So, I slipped yesterday in the rain and got myself twisted somehow which buggered my back. My right knee, thigh, ankle and calves are fucking killing me. I've taken a day off work and decided to actually *watch* Kyle XY instead of fast forwarding it.

So here's my rant:

WTF? Kyle looks identical to the photo taken of Baylin in 1985, but 5 years later, Baylin's face changes so much that he no longer looks like Kyle? Instead it looks like the 40 year old incarnation of Baylin. Seriously?

And even more WTF...Lori gets beaten up after the dance and has her necklace stolen. We discover that Jessi (and she confirms this) did it because of footage taken during the dance. DURING, as in before Lori is beaten up. Footage where Lori is dancing *and wearing the stolen necklace.* Footage of Jessi is lurking in the background playing with the necklace that she supposedly stole after she beat up Lori. GAH! These inconsistencies are driving me up the wall.

I liked the show so much better when I watched it in fast forward.

Clearly you should be watching it with dark_squire and myself, then you've got minions to whinge to. Baylin is the actor I assume?

Baylin is a character that Kyle is supposed to be the clone of.

Baylin is the character. The show is too cheap to hire an extra actor for the flashback sequences that occur between Baylin looking like Kyle while in his late teens/early 20s, and present-day Baylin in his 40s.

Aw, you poor thing. Not the Kyle XY stuff which I don't have a clue about enough to comiserate, but slipping in the rain. How sucky.
